Print-CAP System configuration

The Print-CAP Web Inspection System (based on a typical web arrangement)

• Camera unit
  Three color RGB CCD cameras are used with the number of cameras deployed dependent on customer inspection accuracy requirements.
• Encoder unit
  Encoders monitor web speed and distance and are synchronized with the CCD cameras to record distance when defects are detected.
• Lighting unit
  Reflective and back lighting is utilized to elicit sharp images.
• Main Unit
  • Hardware processing
    The system's hardware processing functions to provide continuous, pass through inspection image data gathering and defect determination.
  • Software processing
    Easy-to-use Windows format is employed for defect image presentation and management. Data can be recorded in the large data storage device and printed out.
• Labeler unit
  The labeler unit automatically injects a label on to the web, thus identifying the detected area to support quality control investigation at a later stage.
